Modal is a fibre made from beech wood pulp, known for its smooth, silky hand feel and soft drape. It is often described as softer than cotton, and it absorbs moisture efficiently, helping you stay comfortable as temperatures shift during the night. Our modal sleepwear includes pyjama sets, nightdresses and lounge pieces, mostly in jersey, selected from brands that pair the fabric with thoughtful cuts and quality finishing.

Modal also holds colour well, so pieces keep their depth of tone wash after wash. The honest limit: modal drapes rather than holding a tailored shape, so it suits relaxed silhouettes more than crisp, structured pyjamas.
